It’s been a fantastic result for both Valerion and AWOL Vision at the What Hi-Fi? Awards 2026, with two models from the KSD projector portfolio picking up Best Buy honours.

The Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 was named Best Projector £1,500–£2,000, while the AWOL Vision Aetherion Max took the award for Best UST Projector. What Hi-Fi? praised the VisionMaster Pro 2 for its punchy, easy-to-set-up home cinema performance, while the Aetherion Max impressed with its combination of striking design and powerful yet natural picture quality. What Hi-Fi Best Projectors 2026

Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2

The VisionMaster Pro 2 combines a 4K RGB triple-laser light source, 3,000 ISO lumens and 110% Rec.2020 colour coverage with support for Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and HDR10+. Its 0.9–1.5:1 optical zoom and automatic image adjustment also make it a flexible option for creating a large-screen cinema setup at home.

AWOL Vision Aetherion Max

For those looking for a big-screen experience without a traditional long-throw installation, the Aetherion Max offers 4K ultra-short-throw projection up to 200 inches, 3,300 ISO lumens and a 6,000:1 native contrast ratio. VRR, ALLM and low-latency gaming features add further versatility, while its RGB triple-laser platform is designed to deliver a bright, sharp and immersive image from just a short distance away.

With both long-throw and ultra-short-throw models taking honours, the 2026 awards are a great result for two of the newest additions to the KSD home cinema range.
