iFi Audio: GO Series expanded with the New GO link 2 Max

Product News

iFi has unveiled the GO link 2 Max, a new addition to its popular portable DAC lineup that brings balanced architecture, increased power and enhanced audio performance at an accessible price point.

Building on the success of the original GO link range, the GO link 2 Max is designed for customers looking to get more from their wired headphones without moving into larger desktop solutions. With up to 241mW of output power, dual ESS Sabre DACs and support for PCM 384kHz and DSD256, it offers a significant upgrade over the audio hardware found in most smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Key Features Go Link 2 MAX

More Than a Simple Refresh

The headline upgrade is the move to a dual DAC design, with a dedicated ESS Sabre chip assigned to each audio channel. This improves separation, definition and overall clarity while maintaining the compact form factor that made the GO series so popular.

iFi has also introduced Dynamic Range Enhancement (DRE), adding up to 6dB between the quietest and loudest passages in music. Combined with reduced distortion and improved channel separation through S-Balanced circuitry, the result is a more engaging and controlled listening experience.

A Strong Upgrade Opportunity

As Lossless and Hi-Res streaming continue to become mainstream, the GO link 2 Max gives retailers a compelling upgrade path for customers who want better sound from their existing headphones. It occupies a sweet spot between entry-level dongles and more expensive portable DAC/amps, making it an easy recommendation alongside wired headphones and IEMs.
