iFi has unveiled the GO link 2, the next evolution of its best-selling ultra-portable USB DAC. Following on from the success of the original, the GO link 2 arrives with meaningful internal upgrades and improved functionality in the same affordable category.

So, what’s new?
The GO link 2 is 8% smaller and 29% lighter than the original, making it iFi’s most compact DAC to date. Internally, it benefits from refined tuning within the ESS Sabre chipset, unlocking Dynamic Range Enhancement (DRE) for an additional 6dB of contrast between quiet and loud passages. Harmonic distortion has also been reduced by up to 62% compared to the original GO link, delivering a cleaner, more controlled presentation.
For the first time in the GO link range, the device now supports the iFi Nexis app (Android), enabling over-the-air firmware updates and selectable digital filters.
Key Highlights
- ESS Sabre DAC with PCM 384kHz & DSD256 support
- Dynamic Range Enhancement (+6dB)
- Up to 62% lower distortion vs previous model
- S-Balanced 3.5mm output for reduced crosstalk
- Smaller, lighter chassis (7.8g)
- Nexis app compatibility (Android)

Entry-Level Upgrade That Delivers
As Lossless streaming becomes standard across major platforms, GO link 2 offers a clear and affordable step up from built-in smartphone and laptop audio. It remains a strong attach product for wired headphones and an easy recommendation for customers seeking better sound without complexity.
