The LCD-S20 is Audeze’s first closed-back planar magnetic headphone to feature their new SLAM™ (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology, originally introduced in the flagship CRBN2. SLAM improves low-end performance and spatial imaging, delivering clean, powerful bass even at high volumes.
This model brings the signature Audeze studio sound to a wider audience, thanks to its MSRP of £499*. With an 18-ohm impedance, the LCD-S20 is compatible with a wide range of gear including audio interfaces, mixers, laptops, and mobile devices, no dedicated headphone amp required.
Designed with tracking and recording in mind, its closed-back construction helps reduce microphone bleed and ambient noise, while planar drivers provide fast transient response ideal for timing-critical applications. The headphone also includes Audeze’s new magnetic earpad attachment system for easier maintenance and customization.
Built from magnesium, aluminum, and steel, and paired with gel-filled earpads and an adjustable leather suspension headband, the LCD-S20 maintains Audeze’s standard of comfort and durability.
