he N8, or "Nate," is an industry-first signature in-ear monitor developed in collaboration with legendary bassist and producer, Nathan East. This hybrid in-ear monitor offers unique textures and rich, soulful sound. It's powerful lows and deep, airy sub-bass define the sound signature, making it a favorite among multi-instrumentalists, audiophiles, engineers, and, of course, bassists.

To achieve the necessary sound flavour, 64 Audio opted for a hybrid design utilizing a 9mm dynamic driver for the lows and 8 balanced armature drivers for the mid-range and highs. The result is an incredibly intimate and smooth sound with punchy lows, luscious mids, and a silky treble with an analogue sensation.

Featured in the N8 is apex, a pneumatically-interactive vent that relieves fatigue-causing sound pressure inherent in other earphone designs. Also featured is LID technology, ensuring the N8 maintains its sound signature regardless of the source - perfect for musicians and music lovers plugging into a variety of equipment.

Like all 64 Audio Custom IEMs, the N8 monitors are customizable and are hand-built from your uniquely shaped ear impressions. They are inherently noise isolating and are designed to work with a wide range of personal audio devices as well as all hard-wired and wireless monitor systems.

Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia) is a patented IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent and lifelike sound signature. The tia system is comprised of three major elements: open balanced armature tia drivers, the tia single-bore design, and tia acoustic chambers. N8 features two major elements of the tia system: the tia driver and the tia single-bore design.

Apex®
Air Pressure Exchange (Apex) is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal all while retaining standard IEM levels of isolation; enabling musicians and music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer. LID®
Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented circuit that corrects the non-linear electrical resistance of the multiple driver-sets comprising this 3 driver IEM. Varying source amplifier output impedance in devices like smartphones, body packs, DAC/amps, and DAPs typically results in varying frequency response across them, depending on the increase in resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature enables a consistent reliable sound.

3D-Fit®
3D-Fit technology preserves the detail of your ear impressions using a new process of digital rendering and 3D-printing. Compared to conventional wax-dip molding, this process reduces distortion in the impression for the most precise and comfortable custom in-ear monitors available. All 64 Audio Custom In-Ear Monitors and Custom Earplugs are crafted using this process.
